leaked image suggests that Motorola will show off its first book-style foldable at CES Seemingly dubbed the Motorola Razr Fold, this will likely launch later in 2026 It could be a major rival to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 or 8

With no new OnePlus Open in 2025, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 hasnt had much competition, but that could soon change as it seems Motorola is gearing up to launch its first book-style foldable.

Evan Blass a leaker with a superb track record has shared what looks like an official marketing slide, and while it sadly doesnt show the phone itself, it mentions that the "Motorola Razr Fold" is coming, and will be the first Motorola phone in the fold form factor.

According to this image, the Motorola Razr Fold will have brilliant displays, intelligent AI, and an advanced, boundary-breaking camera system, which combined will apparently set a new standard for whats possible with a

So that certainly sounds promising, and we should have a clearer idea of what the Motorola Razr Fold has to offer soon, as the image also says that it has already been previewed. Obviously, it actually hasnt yet at least not in public but presumably then it will be soon, with the ongoing CES 2026 likely to be the venue. Indeed, as Android Central previously pointed out , the companys CES invite already hinted at the device.

However, this will seemingly just be a preview, with the device said to be coming later this year, and more details apparently set to be revealed in the coming months. So the Motorola Razr Fold might end up being more of a rival for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 than the current Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Either way though, its great to see more options and competition in the foldable phone space, and if the Motorola Razr Fold is anywhere near as good as the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 a clamshell foldable that we gave 4.5 stars to in our review then it should be worth the wait.
