I bought a Roland Juno-G once a few years ago, and I got to like it, particularly the built-in sequencer that supports 16 MIDI tracks and 4 regular audio tracks. I heard that the Juno-G has now been replaced with a newer model, the Juno-Gi, and the newer model's sequencer only records regular audio tracks. I heard Roland decided that not enough people like to do sequencing on the keyboard anymore (opting to use a computer for that instead). It seemed like this was a step back.. Also, it seems that the Juno-Gi is more designed for portability and stage performances (similar to their Juno-Stage) and seems a little diffrent than the Juno-G. Does anyone know more about the Juno-Gi who could inform me a bit more?
