Mike,
I saw you were back posting again. Hope you are doing well. I also
saw where your area was hit with a tornado? Stay well my friend.
I was back in the hospital for 2 days early last week...I apparently
now have congestive heart failure to go with my atrial fibrillation...
the same things that eventually killed my Mom. They drained 10 pounds
(over a gallon) of fluid off me.
I see the glaucoma doctor in the morning (Monday) to see if I do have glaucoma and if the peripheral vision is getting skewed. If so, it will
either mean the end of night driving, or driving entirely, and I'll have
to sell the car by the end of April.
I see my PCP on Tuesday to confirm the diagnosis of congestive heart
failure, and likely be put on a very strict and bland low sodium diet
(wheat bread with butter and flavored water)...not to mention Lasix on
a daily basis.
From another echo, I saw where Sean Dennis, the FIDOGazette Editor,
had a major heart attack...he is to have triple bypass surgery this
week.
As for weather, there was an EF-2 tornado in Springdale in northwest
Arkansas that destroyed a gym at an elementary school...and an EF-1
tornado in Harmony about 30 miles southeast of there...not sure about
injuries or damage there.
Storms are forecast here Monday night into Tuesday, so the BBS will
be down again for a bit...then another possible frost or freeze may
occur Saturday morning. Folks wanting to do their spring gardens are
furious. A few years back, northwest Arkansas got 7 inches of snow on
Mother's Day Weekend.
