• Echo assist apps

    What about an app like we had with WWIV and VBBS that would read the arealist files, the user would then just go down the list and select the echoes they wanted to carry and the app would add the echoes to the BBS and send out the needed subscription mail.

    The discussion has been taking place in the DOVE-Net Synchronet Sysops sub, which is gated to the Fidonet SYNC_SYSOPS echo.

    The only real issue I could see would be that all the networks would have to follow a very exacting format. I know my echolist for SFnet does not follow
    the regular *.na format because I have all my echoes listed out in catagories to make what you're looking for easier to find.
