  • Increasing MusicalNet act

    Hi all,

    I'm curious if any sysops would like to see any additional message areas or information posted on MusicalNet which might be useful and increase activity? Perhaps some additional message areas or informational web links posted on MusicalNet (perhaps automated on a daily/weekly/monthly basis)?

    What is your reasoning? My original idea was that if anyone here is in a band, they can promote their band. "Avertise a Band" sounds like advertising any band, not just a band that you're in.

    Concerts
    "Concert Stories" to "Concert Stories & Events"

    Perhaps that could be a change I'd make..

    I actually think it would be good for the net in general. I always wondered why we didn't have a section on it.

    I was just thinking numbers. Maybe if it was "Advertise a Band" then people could post info about new band, info and such.. With "Advertise your Band" people only can advertise about their band.

    With the size of MusicalNet, there probably are not that many people that have a band. Out of the number of people who have a band, how many people need to advertise their band?

    The basic idea was to maybe broaden some of the topics to potentially get more input.

    Honestly, I think one area is enough. The user can specify weather it avail in cd form or vinal form in the text or subject line.

    I agree, don't want to be too specific with the low level of traffic on here. One area for all albums makes sense, or just discuss it in the General area.
