We get some pretty heavy storms just before winter here late in
October into November usually. My place is old and built on pillars
and one year we had one where the wind hit 165 kph (102 mph) and
for a while I wondered if my place was going to pull a Wizard of Oz
thing on me.. "Auntie M.. Auntie M!!"..

I could just see my house landing on my Ex Wife.. B)

Reminds me of the day I was walking down the sidewalk and saw
an ex-girlfriend. We did NOT end things well... And she was
going the same direction! I had no choice but to make eye
    contact and she spoke.

Anyway - we got to the end of the block and she was going the
same way I was, so I said I was going to wait on a friend.

She stepped off the sidewalk and was hit by a BUS!

I thought - THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ME!!!

    Then I remembered - I don't have a license to drive a bus.

    Ha!.. LOL.. B)

I never used to run into my ex around town when I was still there
but one day I ran into her mother who just about had a meltdown
when she saw me.. I just walked away but later my Ex called me
to appologize for that and explained that she'd let her parents
just assume the split-up was due to something I did rather than
something she did, but she finally admitted the truth to them.

Well mine was a joke, of course. Yours reminds me of the old
Statler Brothers song, "One Takes the Blame."
