    Mike,

We got close to 60F today. Tomorrow (Fri) the high will be at
midnight. We might make it back to freezing sometime in the
    afternoon. ;)

We'll be in the mid 70s on Christmas, and in northwest Texas near
Wichita Falls, it'll likely reach 80 degrees or more.

I think we are forecast to be close to 70F on Christmas Eve or Day.

Good for travel, but I guess not so good for the fans of snow on
    Christmas. ;)

With the Blue Norther strong arctic cold front that blasted through
here on Sunday, we dodged a bullet. It was in the mid 70s prior to
frontal passage, but it was in the upper 20s the next morning.

There was a line of heavy rain showers and strong winds here just
before frontal passage, but the closest lightning was 40 miles to my
northeast. However, they had several tornadoes in Illinois and
Indiana. On the cold side of the storm, there were snow squalls,
blizzard conditions, etc. in much of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

The really severe weather seemed to miss us to the north also. It didn't
even seem to rain much, if at all... radar was showing a narrow band of
heavy rain but, it was so windy, I didn't even hardly hear the rain! :D

There were quite a few power outages across Arkansas from the strong
    winds.
