Using aciddraw (I think ,maybe it's thedraw) I can set the speed of an ANSI.
What is ideal for BBS's? I'd like my scrollers to display at a decent speed.
I thought I had a solution, but it crashes syncterm and connectbot as
    well
as the BBS if those terminals are used... I was using doorway and an ansi display door. (ansidis).

While it has been a while since I used AcidDraw, I dont set a ansi speed & depend on the bbbs/client connect & latency determine the speed.

No matter what speed you chose to display ansi graphics, other than locally on your monitor, it will be wrong. Well 95% of the connections.

Stop overthinking it & enjoy more beer!

Yeah, EleBBS doesn't set a speed for ANSI display, it just blasts it out at whatever the speed is. Netrunner doesn't allow for this to be configured. Syncterm and Icyterm allow you to set the emulated baud rate, so I guess I'll rely on that. Acidraw didn't let you set the speed, thedraw does by
inserting a bunch of empty characters between each actually displayed character. A bit of a kludge.
