• Refunds

If the US Supreme Court overturns Trump's import tariffs today, companies seeking refunds must apply by February 6th. In that case, many of the imposed duties will have to be repaid to the companies, and the Trump administration's budget will be completely depleted. The current budget is reportedly $200 billion, potentially requiring repayment.

His tariffs have only hurt American firms and households. Up here in Canada, we are just exporting products overseas more with little impact. It's like a warehouse of natural resources up here. If the US passes on us, they can just pay more for domestic products and Canadians will sell goods to the next guy!

Regan was correct, tariffs just hurt Americans.
