Hello everybody!

Is there a way to have an event run on a schedule every hour at a given? Like 15 minutes after every hour?

Yes, you can go to SCFG > External Programs > Timed Events and add an event there. You can't directly specify 15 minutes after every hour, but one option is to tell it how many times a day you want the event to run. You could tell it 24 times per day and it should run once per hour.

There's no built-in method for scheduling timed events for a specific offset of ever hour (e.g. **:15). You can submit a feature request if this is important to, and it'd be good to know the reason why it's important too. :-)

If you are running on a linux system, you can use cron to run a script, touch atrigger file, etc., on a more predictable basis.

If you are running on a linux system, you can use cron to run a script, touch atrigger file, etc., on a more predictable basis.

Sometimes it's good to have Synchronet run something though, since for some tasks, you might want Synchronet to bring the nodes down so that users can't log in while the task is running.

You can use the Windows Task Scheduler. Unfortunately, if you have the events on one computer, you can NOT export them to another computer, and instead have to re-enter them.

You actually can export tasks to another computer with Windows Task Manager. You should be able to right-click on the task and export it to an XML file, which you can then import into Task Manager on another computer. Also, there are commands you can use for that purpose for the Windows command line.
