    I'm much more a fan of episodic StarTrek rather than an expisode stretched across an entire season.

    It's called a "story arc". I think Babylon 5 was the first sci-fi show to do this.

    it's called poison. variety is the spice of life. when you have story arcs the writers write shit and hate writing. and people hate watching.

    Not to mention a lot of TV shows now only have 10 or so episodes per season.. TV shows used to have around 25 episodes per season.

    I'm worried I'd be heavily disappointed these days but I sometimes miss Babylon 5 to a degree to consider watching again.

    Doy! Thought you talking about a show called The Shadows. I'm very familiar with B5. Still one of my fav sci-fi shows. Have you seen the B5 movies and spin-off series, Crusade and The Lost Tales?

    I need to do that one of these years. No I haven't watched the movies and the sequels. After Season 5 of B5, I lost interest.
