Since this message network gets so little usage, I've contemplated the idea of >taking it down and no longer hosting it. As some people have stated, there are
a lot of dead (or near dead) networks, and I'm not sure if this message network
has been very useful with such low activity. For sysops who carry this >network, what would you think about this network going away?
Honestly, you'd think that programming would be a pretty good topic of conversation in BBS land but even the programming echoes on other, populous networks are dead.
The only programming discussions I see anymore are usually directly related to Synchronet or some other still-active BBS projects. I guess people are finding their programming answers somewhere else.
I would leave it up to you but I wouldn't throw a hissy-fit if you decided to cease hosting it.

I think I'll keep it going for now, as it's very little extra maintenance to keep it going.
