They should be. I'm getting them here at the gateway. Anything
that comes in the FTN side goes out on QWK, but I don't see the
QWK side. It's like I'm sitting on the fence and can see both
sides directly. :)
Cool, thanks! I think it's all working well.
And I did see a reply come from the QWK side. :)
One thing I didn't mention is that the gateway and FTN hubs are separate systems. Technically, I could have run the lot on Synchronet, but I like Mystic for the FTN hub. It's easy and clean to setup FTN nodes on Mystic - all done in the one place. My Synchronet system requires a bit more work - enter the node into echocfg, and edit binkd.conf at a minimum - 2 places to edit. I've also got hatching working with Mystic. My hatching system should theoretically work with any TIC processor that can forward files, but that hasn't been tested on anything other than Mystic.
This setup has the side effect that I can monitor the hub as a connected system to make sure everything's being forwarded correctly.
My QWK hub/gateway runs Synchronet. For that role, Synchronet is a clear leader at this time.
... You never know which side of the bread to butter until you drop it.
