    Windows 3.11 into a virtualbox container and run trumpet winsock!

    The very same! I'm going totally retro this week! I might even load Windows 3.11 into a virtualbox container and run trumpet winsock!

    I used to use Agent. I think they still make Agent, and there's probably a version that works on Windows 10.

    So did I. They do and it does. I'm actually using an older one that
    still gives you the "Free Agent" version if you don't want to
    register. I remember the newer ones forced you to register.

    The "Help" says this is Agent 3.3 so maybe it is an up to date one.

    Forte Agent was the best back in the day.

    Yeah, I liked Agent. Forte Agent was partially my inspiration for making my message lister/reader for Synchronet.. I wanted to be able to list messages and pick and choose which messages I read.
