    i setup this network with no trouble at all..Well I tried to setup music net today and I am having an issue. It hasn't downloaded or imported any of the messages from musicnet..
    I have the right sub numbers configed, and its in my digital distortion network callout so both music-net and developer net are in setup in the digdist network called..Both boards are networked to the same place qwk network.
    I think I followed the documents carefully but maybe I missed something. I have done probably four times already. And still getting the same results. When i signed on to my qwk id on digitaldistortionbbs.com i set musicnet to be downloaded as well as developernet.
    Am I missing something?
    The error I am gettint is socket_error 61 (no new messages)
    I am also getting this same error for gatornet :(

    Are your newscan pointers set properly? One thing you could try is to log in with your QWK account manually via Telnet and configure your newscan pointers for MusicalNet for an old date, which should hopefully force it to download all messages newer than that. Other than that, I'm not sure.. It looks like the MusicalNet areas are enabled for your QWK account, so I'm not sure what else it could be. I suppose it's possible that MusicalNet was always enabled with your QWK account, so perhaps my BBS has already sent all of those messages to you and thinks you already have them - So if your newscan pointers are already recent, that might be why.

    I've reset your newscan pointers for MusicalNet. Hopefully that will fix it.
