    Hi Mr Chicken,

    Hope you made it safely across the road.

    Got a question for you, I have been getting this error EVERY SINCE I installed my BBS, afaik it has never given any issues because everything I use that utilizes JSON works correctly ( presume)

    this user does of course exist on my system, it is me, user #1, my JSON server presides on 127.0.0.1, it the only way I can get it to work, and all my other services bind to ports on my 192.x.x.x address, what do you think is going on?

    afaik all it really doing is making error log entries.. nothing else.. because all the interBBS scores, etc That I pull from you, and the oneliners, etc all work correctly.

    Yes, I've seen this error and I don't really understand why it happens. I did however update a bunch of things a while back (maybe a month or two ago) which should have done away with this error.

    This error is generated by scripts that only need to run on a server that's hosting a JSON DB. If you're connecting to my system for Onliners, SyncWall, and any games that I wrote, you can edit your 'ctrl/json-service.ini' file and comment out any sections that correspond to those modules. This will stop your local JSON DB server from loading up unnecessary databases and scripts.

    Excellent, thanks for the quick reply, No I'm not running any servers myself, but I more than likely hastily uncommented those when installing, I've thrown my BBS together with patchwork sections of about 2 different SBBS systems from linuux, and another from windows, and I truly wonder how it runs to the day :-)

    cool, I'll get rid of that and shut the DB server off, I'm trying to run the system as slim as possible anyway to get as much bang for 7.50 I gave for it :)
